Begin the day with a visit to the Roman Amphitheater theatre in Kom El-Deka; It is the only Roman Theater in Egypt and one of its kind. Drive to Catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa; the necropolis of 3 sub-levels dating from the 2nd century AD and visible evidence of three cultures, three arts of Roman, Greek and Egyptian and three religions superimposed upon Egyptian.
Then visit Pompey's Pillar, It was constructed in honour of Emperor Diocletian at the end of the 4th century. Following lunch at a seafood restaurant, your guide will take you on a tour of the Library of Alexandria and Qaitbay Citadel, built upon the ruins of the ancient Alexandria Lighthouse, one of the ancient world wonders. End this day of discovery by seeing the royal gardens of Montazah Palace, then drive back to Cairo, and your hotel.
