Itinerary

Day 1

Welcome to Egypt and the start of a wonderful holiday! Upon your arrival in Cairo international airport (Arrival procedures), Misr Travel tour manager will meet and issue your entry Visa, then he will escort you to your hotel in Cairo by an air-conditioned deluxe vehicle.

Overnight Cairo

Accommodation: 2 nights at Marriott Mena House Hotel / Steigenberger Pyramids hotel

Day 2

Begin your discovery of this timeless land with a visit to the magnificent Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, Mykerinus and enigmatic Sphinx, it is the only survivor of the seven Wonders of the Ancient world. Follow the steps of Julius Caesar and Napoleon as they visit these extroidinary feats. Afterwards, visit the Egyptian museum, to witness the priceless treasures recovered from the tomb of king Tutankhamen. Combine fascinating history with shopping in a lively Khan el Khalili bazaar, this date back to 1382.

Day 3

Fly to Aswan to join your cruise, Board your plane for a morning flight across the desert to Aswan. Meet and assist at Aswan airport , transfer to board the Nile cruise, your home for the next 3 nights. Lunch on board , Visit the Aswan High dam, an engineering miracle when it was built in the 1960s, and the granite quarries, where one of Queen Hatsheput’s obelisks lies abandoned in the bedrock. Then cross the Nile by motorboat to the well-preserved Philae temple complex, world UNESCO heritage, moved stone-by-stone to its current location. Enjoy dinner accompanied by a Nubian folklore show and live music.

Day 4

The morning sail for the temple at Kom ombo and enjoy scenery and cool breeze as you approach, it is dedicated to both the falcon-headed Horeris and the crocodile-headed god Sobek. Continue sailing, past irrigated fields and palm-fringed villages to  Edfu. Drive by horse and buggy from the ship to the temple of Horus at Edfu. It is one of the most well-preserved temples and the site of the annual coronation of Horus the Pharaoh. This evening there will be a wonderful Egyptian themed Galabiya party and oriental dinner.

Day 5

After leisurely breakfast, sit back and observe everyday life in rural Egypt as you float down-stream to Luxor. On arrival, Across the Nile, to the west side of the city, site of necropolis of ancient Thebes. Stopover for a photo of the Colossi of Memnon; these two giant seated figures of Amenhotep III once guarded his mortuary temple. Continue to the temple of Queen Hatshepsut, the only female Pharaohs. Next, drive to the Valley of the Kings, site of  62 of royal kings buried there including the burial chamber of Tutankhamen.

Overnight in Luxor.

Day 6

After leisurely Breakfast, disembark the cruise and visit the colossal temple of Karnak .This is  the greatest example of worship in the history of mankind and one of the most significant monuments of the Pharaohs legacy. Walk along the avenue of Sphinxes and wonder at the incredible forest of giant pillars at the great Hypostyle hall. Continue to Luxor temple via a two kilometers long Avenue of Sphnixes to see one of the original pair of obelisk, the second now stands on the Place de la Concorde in Paris. Transfer to Luxor airport for a short flight to Cairo. Meet  and transfer to your hotel for an afternoon at your leisure.

Day 7

Enjoy Breakfast, then transfer to Cairo Airport to fly to Jordan. On arrival  at Queen Alia Airport, you will meet our representative who will assist you through the immigration and customs and match with your driver and head to your hotel in Amman.

Day 8

After Breakfast, proceed to the north for full day tour visiting Jerash; the best-preserved city of the Roman times; theaters, temples, and colonnaded street. Proceed to Ajloun visiting Al-Rabid Castle; the 12th century Castle built by one of Saladin’s lieutenants in the campaign against the Crusaders.
Drive to Amman for overnight.

Day 9

After Breakfast, drive to Mount Nebo and wonder at the view where Moses looked across to the Promised Land and later died and was buried. Then drive to the lowest point at the earth, the Dead Sea. Spend the day floating and relaxing at the Dead Sea at one of the resort. Enjoy the sunshine at the lowest point on earth, whilst trying out the invigorating mud bath to cleanse the skin. Watch the sunset over the hills of the West Bank with Jerusalem in the distance. Then head to your hotel in Petra, Overnight in Petra.

Day 10

After Breakfast, marvel at the beauty of the ‘Lost City’, the Red Rose City of Petra, exploring its many caves and tombs. Walk through the canyon and be astounded at the magnificent Treasury, the entrance guarding the ancient Nabatians city, now one of the Modern 7 Wonders of the World. After tours ends, drive to Wadi Rum and marvel at the sunset and gaze at the stars in the night sky whilst enjoying the legendary hospitality of the Bedouin, before sleeping at the foot of the awesome mountains exploding out from the desert landscape. Dinner and overnight in Wadi Rum.

Day 11

After Breakfast, enjoy the wilderness adventure of a 4×4 jeep tour of Wadi Rum, following in the footsteps of Lawrence of Arabia, climbing sand dunes and rock bridges. Then drive to Amman for overnight.

Day 12

After Breakfast, free at leisure untill it is time to transfer to Queen Alia Airport for check-in for your flight home.

For the International flight it will be according to the type booking policy , & concerning the Internal flight you can have just 1 piece with maximum of 20 kilograms (international dimensions).
