Day

Day 01: Arrival Luxor, Visit to Karnak and Luxor temples

Welcome Luxor, Egypt (Around the clock) Misr Travel tour manager will meet & assist you at Luxor airport, Rail station or hotel and then escort to your Nile cruise.

After leisurely lunch, enjoy a visit to the colossal Temple of Karnak. Egypt’s most beautiful ancient temple, Walk along the Avenue of Sphinx to see each legacy left by the various Pharaohs and dating back over 3000 years. Then explore the enormous Hypostyle hall of 134 columns towering above you like an ancient forest. Continue to Luxor Temple which once joined to the Temples of Karnak by a two-kilometre long Avenue of Sphinx. Find out one of the original pairs of an obelisk, the second of which now stands on the Place de la Concorde in Paris.

Day 02: Luxor West bank tour – Sailing to Edfu

After Breakfast, visit the West Bank; where 64 ancient Egyptian rulers lie buried in the Valley of the Kings including the burial chamber of Tutankhamen that Archaeologist Howard Carter discovered intact and filled with treasures in 1922. Proceed to the spectacular Funerary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, Egypt’s only female ruler. Stop for the photo at the Colossi of Memnon, impressive statues of Amenhotep III.

Optional Excursion: Inner the Burial Chamber of the  King Tutankhamen, $  (purchased locally)

You will cruise to Edfu via Esna. Enjoy your afternoon tea out on the sun deck. Overnight in Edfu.

Day 03: Edfu and Kom Ombo Temples 

Today your Egyptologist will guide you to explore the extraordinary Temple of Horus at Edfu, the falcon-headed god and the most completely preserved Pharaonic temple. Witness the reliefs that depicting the coronation of Horus, the Pharaoh. Enjoy lunch while sailing to Kom Ombo, visit the only temple dedicated to two gods: the crocodile-headed Sobek, god of fertility and creator of the world and falcon-headed Horus, the Elder. Tonight, enjoy a special Egyptian Galabeya Party, Overnight in Kom Ombo.

Day 04:  Aswan day tour – Felucca Nile sailing

After leisurely breakfast, at 09.00 a.m start your journey with a visit to Aswan High Dam, an engineering miracle when it built in the 1960s, and incorporating 16 times the amount of material that went into the Great Pyramid at Giza. Proceed to the impressive granite quarries and site of the Unfinished Obelisk. Ride a motorised boat to Philae Temple on the island of Agilika, UNESCO world heritage site, the whole site dismantled and relocated to avoid the flooding; This sacred complex dedicated to the Goddess Isis. Afterwards, enjoy the peace and tranquility of the felucca Nile sailing ride around  the Agha Khan Mausoleum and Botanical gardens.

Day 05 : Disembarkation & Final Departure

After Breakfast and check out, Misr Travel tour manager will arrange to transfer you to Aswan Airport, Hotel or Rail station.

Day 01: Arrival Aswan I Visit High Dam, Unfinished Obelisk, Philae temple

Welcome Aswan, Egypt (Around the clock) Misr Travel tour manager will meet & assist you at Aswan airport, Rail station or hotel and then, escort to your Nile cruise to check in. After leisurely lunch, start your tour with a visit to Aswan High Dam, built 1960 and incorporated an amount of material 16 times bigger than it used in the great Pyramids. Proceed to the granite quarries, where the obelisk still lies in its bedrock. Ride a motorised boat to Philae Temple, UNESCO world heritage site on the island of Agilika. The whole temple dismantled and relocated to its current site to avoid the dam flooding. Welcome cocktail reception and overnight in Aswan.

Day 02: Cruising the Nile I Kom Ombo to Edfu

Cruise to Kom Ombo and visit the only temple in Egypt dedicated to two gods: the crocodile-headed Sobek and falcon-headed Horus, the Elder. Continue, past irrigated fields and palm-fringed villages to Edfu.enjoy a horse and buggy ride from the ship to the beautifully preserved Temple of Horus, the Falcon God. Witness the reliefs depicting the annual Festival of Coronation held to honour the divine birth of Horus and the Pharaoh. Celebrate Egyptian-style this evening, at a Galabeya party and dinner. Overnight in Esna.

Day 03: Cruising the Nile I Karnak & Luxor temples

Early morning, sail to Luxor. After lunch on board, you will visit the amazing temple complex of Karnak. Wonder at the obelisks, the vast Hypostyle Hall and the great sacred lake. Continue via ram-headed sphinx road to Luxor temple. The striking temple of Luxor dedicated to god Amun Ra in ancient times. The temple lost for centuries beneath the streets of the town. Belly dance show and overnight in Luxor.

Day 04: Legendary Valley of Kings & Hatshepsut Temple 

Disembarkation after breakfast, drive over to the west bank of the Nile for a photo stop at the towering Colossi of Memnon. Next, visit the reconstructed Temple of Hatshepsut ( El-Deir El- Bahari ) – the only female rulers in Ancient Egypt. Continue to the Valley of the Kings, the burial place of many of the New Kingdom Pharaohs. Venture underground into some of the royal tombs before returning to the cruise.

Prices are quoted in US Dollars per person per trip and valid till September 30, 2024, except during Christmas, New Year & Easter holidays.

Reservation & Cancellation policy.

  • A deposit of 25% is required at the time of booking and making up a part of your final payment.
  • Full payment is due 30 days before the commencement of the tour.
  • The company may cancel the booking if the payment is not received within this period. 
  • Tour prices and dates are correct at the time of the website going live, however, are subject to confirmation at the time of booking.
  • Misr Travel accepts the credit and debit cards (Visa and Master Card) as well as a wire transfer.
  • We charged no credit card fees or hidden surcharges.

Cancellation refunds will be calculated as of the date we receive cancellation requests per person.

The cancellation must be done by sending an email with 1) Name of the passenger 2) Passport number 

Cancellation fees.

  •  45 days before your arrival, 6% of the total tour price will be charged as a bank transaction fee.
  • From 40 to 30 days before your arrival date, 25% of the entire tour price will be charged.
  • From 29 to 15 days before your arrival date, 50% of the entire tour price will be charged.
  • From 14 to 7 days before your arrival date, 75% of the entire tour price will be charged.
  • From 7 to 1 day before your arrival date, 100% of the entire tour price will be charged. 

Children Policy.

A: It differs from one tour to another.

  • 0 - 01.99 Free
    2 - 4.99 pay 25% of the tour price
    5 - 11.99 pay 50% of the tour price
    12+ pay full tour price as per adult person.

B: The policy is valid and applies to children sharing their parent’s rooms.

C: If the package includes Air Flight or Sleeping Train, then an extra charge applies as per the flight or train policy.

Single supplement:
This option is available for those who prefer traveling with others but prefer single accommodation. This will guarantee you your own room for every night of the tour.  The number of single rooms offered is limited, so it’s best to book early.

Important Notes:
We highly recommend you book this trip as early as possible, preferably 50 days before departure. Reservations received within 30 days will be on request and subject to availability of accommodation.

For the International flight it will be according to the type booking policy , & concerning the Internal flight you can have just 1 piece with maximum of 20 kilograms (international dimensions).
