Day 02: Luxor /The fabled Valley of Kings
Begin your day of exploration with a journey to the famed location of over 64 tombs for pharaohs and nobles on the West Bank of the Nile. First visit the famed tombs in the valley of kings and explore the beauty and mystery tomb of King Tutankhamen, then explore the most vibrant colors and drawings of the burial chamber of Ramses "the Sixth" (included), continue to Deir El Medina, the site of a very special workmen’s Village, whose craftsmen built and decorated the tombs of the Pharaohs in the Valley of the Kings and the temple of Medinet Habu. The tour also includes photo-stop at the huge colossi of Memnon, impressive statues of AmenhotepIII. Sail south to Edfu via Esna lock. Overnight in Esna

Day 03: Cruising the Nile / Edfu to Kom Ombo
Enjoy the cool Nile to Edfu to visit the Temple of Horus the falcon –headed sun god .This is one of the most beautifully preserved temples surviving from the age of the Pharaohs. Continue to Kom Ombo to visit the temple uniquely dedicated to two gods – Horus the Elder and the crocodile headed Sobek. In fact, crocodiles were kept in the temple and some mummified remains are on show. Overnight in Aswan

Day 04: Aswan / Majestic Philae & Nubian Museum
Enjoy breakfast on board, begin your Aswan sightseeing with a visit to the Aswan High Dam, then continue with a motorboat trip to the Temple dedicated to the goddess Isis of beautiful Philae Island. The temple dismantled and recollected when the High Dam was built in 1960. After lunch on board, proceed your tour into the history and culture of Nubian. The Nubian museum is established in partnership with Unesco to save the monuments and heritage of the Nubian from the flooding of Lake Nasser when a dam was built in 1960.

Day 05: Disembark Aswan
Disembark from your Philae cruise after breakfast, free at leisure or alternatively opting to Abu Simbel to see the impressive twin temples of Ramses II and his wife, Queen Nefertari. The two rock temples of Abu Simbel were constructed and dedicated to King Ramses II and considered an incredible sight to behold. The entire site was disassembled and moved to its current location to save it from the floodwaters caused by the Aswan High Dam.
Transfer from Philae cruise to Aswan airport or station for final departure.

Day 02: Temple of Seti I at Abydos / Cruising the Nile
Drive north in the company of your Egyptologist guide to Abydos, The stunning temple of SetiI and home to “The Cult of Osiris”. It was believed to be the place where Osiris was buried. The paintings of the Gods and Pharaohs on the walls of the Osiris Temple at Abydos are among the most beautifully preserved in Egypt and it contains an inscription to the kings list. Lunch will be served on the Oberoi Philae as you sail back to Luxor. Late this afternoon, visit Luxor Museum, to admire the objects that were found in the tombs of Tutankhamen (horse-carriage, weapons as well as several exhibits).

After lunch aboard begin your Luxor sightseeing with a visit to the monumental temple complex at karnak.
