Day

Meet your private Egyptologist guide at the hotel and drive towards the Giza plateau, site of the stunning Pyramids of Mycerinus, Chefren and the Great Pyramid of Cheops. It is the only survivor of the wonders of the ancient world. Then proceed to visit the Great Sphinx and the Valley temple.

Stop for lunch at a quality local restaurant, before driving to visit the Egyptian museum, which features stunning artifacts and a rare collection of 5000 years of art from the Pharaonic period, including some of the riches of Tutankhamen's gold jewelry and coffin, discovered in his intact tomb in the Valley of Kings in 1920. Then immerse yourself into the winding alleys of the Khan el Khalili bazaar, the most interesting (open-air marketplace) and the center of everyday activity. Back to the hotel.
